Dispatching 23 manufacturing-export companies’ managers to Germany

Deputy Minister of SAMT (Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade in Iran) announced the sending of 23 manufacturing and export companies’ managers to Germany in order to provide professional assistance to the private sector in order to facilitate the export of their products to the German market by this organizations.

Alireza Peyman Pak said: “Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization, in cooperation with the International Trade Center and with the aim of supporting small and medium export companies to enter the German market, dispatched managers of 23 companies to this country.”

The General Director of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran added: The managers of the selected companies will be present in Cologne and Hamburg from April 24 to May 14 of this year, and during this period, by attending B2B meetings with German companies, they will try to provide the necessary backgrounds for export to Germany.

Deputy Minister of SAMT stated: In addition to B2B meetings, training programs, visits to German companies, exhibitions, and trade-related infrastructure are included in the group’s program.

In this program, the CEOs or members of the board of directors of small and medium and export companies are active in the emphasized fields including medicinal plants, fruits, and vegetables, auto parts, petrochemical products, information and communication technology, tourism and knowledge enterprises as well as companies active in the field of medicine and food are included.

The companies which are present at this event were selected from 100 companies that had applied to participate in the event during the call of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran in November of last year, in three stages of specialized interviews.

During their 20-day  attendance in Germany, Iranian companies will also receive training on how to set up business contracts, change and innovation management, Digital Marketing, and project management.

The above program also includes visits to significant German companies, including prominent automotive industries.

It is worth noting that this program, as one of the practical measures related to the cooperation project of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran with the International Trade Center, is to be implemented again for another group of export companies to Germany and Italy in the coming months.

The Trade  Promotion Organization of Iran started its practical cooperation with the International Trade Center (ITC) in 2018 and with the framework of the “Technical Assistance Project in the Field of Trade” in which the development of Iran’s national export strategy is one of the main activities of this project in the first steps.
